Bruce Sawtelle has worked in bicycle retail since childhood. After decades of working in the industry, he opened Takoma Bicycle in 2010.
His goal was to create a comfortable, professionally run neighborhood bike shop where cyclists could find the right products, receive dependable service, and ask questions without pressure or judgment.
Today, Bruce and the Takoma Bicycle team help children choosing a first bike, commuters preparing for daily rides, families, recreational cyclists, and experienced riders looking for the right equipment or service.
